ODROID C1

If you are reading this text, it means it works! Finally got my hands on hardkernel’s odroid c1, a credit card size computer.

Of course it has much more features then I need, but basically I wanted to make a separate server for this blogging and some database.
To make it even more energy efficient, I took power from router PSU through a separate dc-dc converter. Adjusted it to 4.5V, as I do not going to plug any usb devices, so saving even more energy.

I also bypassed some protection circuits by connecting directly through 40pin header.

If anyone is interested I will measure the energy consumption at idle, but it should not be more than 1W.

In any way, this is a great opportunity for me to start learning some Linux! Also there is an image to test android!
